We've been to the same beach. Maybe we even walked the same street, and that's a lot to say about a guy living a thousand miles away from what I call home. From a guy who lived thirty-three years more than me, and hey, I know I've missed Rock, but what can I do If I enjoy Rolling on? I'm saying it's a lot to say from a guy who will always sing better than me no matter how much I enjoy screaming a bit every now and then.
I have a dog, did I ever told you that? He's name's Robbie, I have been calling him Robert lately, with a funny tone in my voice, like when you say it very fast "Robert!", he has many names really, but Robert is what I like the most.
It's funny when you look at old pictures and you realize how much you have changed, is it? I'm asking you now, behind all those lines in your face, have you really? Oh, I knew you would say that, It's just what I expected. Now, thank you.
A true love of mine.
Please see for me if her hair hangs long, if it rolls and flows all down her breast. Please see for me if her hair hangs long, that's the way I remember her best.
I'm a-wonderin' if she remembers me at all. Many times I've often prayed in the darkness of my night, in the brightness of my day.
So if you're travelin' in the north country fair, where the winds hit heavy on the borderline, remember me to one who lives there.
She once was a true love of mine.
